1. Presentation Time

  • Length of the presentation should be in accordance with the assigned time as follows;
  • - Invited Presentation: 40 min. including Q&A
  • - Regular Presentation: 20 min. including Q&A
  • The presentation material (ppt or pdf) should be concise and easy to understand.

2. Presentation File

  • Presentation file should be prepared in MS-PowerPoint or PDF formats in English.
  • If you use fonts other than standard Windows Office 2010, please bring the font files along with the presentation file.
  • Please bring your presentation file on a USB memory stick and submit it to the staff of each presentation room at least 15 minutes before the session starts. The staff will load the files to a laptop ready in the room.

3. Visual Equipment

  • Each session room is equipped with following equipments.
  • - Laptop computer (Windows 7, MS-office Powerpoint 2010, Adobe Acrobat Reader, CD&DVD drive, USB port)
  • - Smart Pointer and mouse
  • - Beam projector (RGB Port)
  • - Screen
  • It is not recommended to bring your own laptop computer (especially MacBook) unless your presentation requires any special software and/or hardware.
  • If you would like to use any other A/V equipment, please inform us no later than October 15, 2018.

  • Please set-up your poster on a panel matched to your paper number.
  • We do not specify the poster format, but each poster should include the paper title, authors and their affiliations.
  • Presenters are required to prepare their posters in advance and post them according to the set-up time.
  • Please remove your poster according to the take-down time. All remaining posters will be discarded.
  • The materials such as scissors, scotch tapes, and thumb tacks will be provided in the hall.
  • Please be present in your assigned room at least 10 min.
    Before the start of your session to introduce yourself to the speakers in your session.
  • As participants may have planned to attend specific presentations, please kindly keep the presentation as scheduled.
    Each speaker shall be advised of his responsibility to stay on schedule at the beginning of the session.
  • At the beginning of the session, please kindly;
    - Ask participants to turn off their cell phones.
    - Q&A will be conducted for some minutes (Invited: 5 min. / Regular: 5 min.) for each presentation.
  • After the presentation, please inform the participants that the questioner is to raise his/her hand for delivering the microphone.
